The Honorary Doctorate Policy of UJ
History:
Many years ago some prestigious Theological Institutions in some countries started conferring Honorary Doctorates upon some outstanding Leaders.
Why this Degree?
To Recognize Distinguished Faculty, Educators and other dignitaries from all walks of life.

To Honour Deserving, Qualified and Experienced Servants of God as well as those who are involved in the Ministry, who have made significant contributions for the extension of God’s Kingdom.

For Public Relations Purposes.
It is a wrong idea to conclude that Honorary Degrees are conferred for commercial purposes!

as HONORARY DOCTORATE Degrees.
UJ wishes to Recognize/Motivate outstanding servants of God (both the Clergy and the Laity) in several ways including awarding of Honorary Doctoral Degrees especially in Divinity and Ministry in recognition of their proven record of dedication in serving the Lord.
If you would like to receive this Degree, you may fill out the prescribed Application Form and send it by Email or by regular mail.
When once we receive the Application from someone, who may deserve this special recognition for conferring one of these Honorary Doctoral Degrees, we will be happy to have it processed by the UJ Committee, to make a decision to award the Degree in the next forthcoming UJ Convocation / Pastors and Leaders Conference or by inabsentia.
After reviewing the Application Form, UJ will have a personal Interview, if necessary, with the
applicant.
If the applicant does not meet the requirements of UJ or for other valid reasons the application may be turned down by UJ.
The applicant should send the Honorary Doctorate Fees to register his / her name to receive a Honorary Doctoral Degree:

The Fees to receive the Honorary Doctorate Degrees will be decided by the UJ Committee and will be intimated to the Applicants.

You may send the amount by a Demand draft in favour of JUBU TRUST
As soon as the Application is approved by the UJ Committee, UJ will inform the Applicants the date and the place at which the Convocation will be held to recognize and honor the distinguished Servants of God with these Honorary Degrees.
If for any reason the applicants are not in a position to participate in the Convocation programs of UJ, then they may request UJ to send their Degree Certificates by mail.
The Lord gives His blessings when He finds the vessel empty!
